WE ARE IN PUERTO DE LA CRUZ, TENERIFE
One of Tenerife´s top resorts
Puerto de la Cruz is on the north coast of the island. Both Spanish and island traditions are evident in the former fishing village. Its Sardine Festival and annual Carnaval are two highlights of life on the island. Busy, narrow streets of the Old Town, packed with colonial architecture, make walking a safer bet than driving. Popular attractions include Lago Martianez, Playa Jardín, the Banana Plantation and the Botanical Gardens, which date back to 1788.
IMPRINTED
ON YOUR HEART
Puerto de la Cruz captivates everyone who sets out to make new discoveries and discover themselves in others. Here you live alongside volcanoes and converse with the sea, revisit its history and tradition, and immerse yourself in urban life, culture and the avant-garde.
Pedestrianised Historic Site
A protected site with more than 140 buildings that speak of the history of a cosmopolitan town.
Festivals and Traditions
There are more than 20 cultural events of international interest taking place during the year.
CULTURAL
SITES
An open and participatory environment
Many places in the city offer an all-year-round programme of activities in theatre, art, photography, cinema, music and all kinds of interesting events often in various languages.
