FIRST YEAR
In this first course, a first approach to the tourism activity and the general characteristics of this market, resources and tourist destinations is made. You will also be able to acquire skills that are especially important in this sector, such as protocol and public relations and marketing techniques. Languages are also part of the necessary training in the tourism sector, you will be able to continue improving your English and you will start with German. Iriarte will offer you to start your internship in companies in summer, and if you do it in Europe you will have the financing of the Erasmus program and you will improve your language skills.
SECOND YEAR
In the second course you will acquire more specific theoretical and practical knowledge for guiding and tourist information activities. Of special relevance is learning how to assist groups, how to promote tourism and how to design and manage tourist attractions. You will also learn how to use the Amadeus system, the skill in this reservation system is highly appreciated by companies. You will also advance a little more with languages. From April onwards, you will do your internship in national or international companies. The final objective is that the student has the necessary training and practical experience that will allow him/her to successfully face the beginning of his/her professional career.
