Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) is located on the western coast of Finland, in the Satakunta region. There are about 6,000 students in total and more than two hundred international students studying in our campuses every year. SAMK offers both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the faculties of Health and Welfare, Logistics and Maritime Technology, Service Business and Technology. SAMK is known for its quality of education: according to graduating Bachelor’s degree students, SAMK is the best university of applied sciences in Finland in terms of teaching competence. In addition, Master’s degree students at SAMK are in general very satisfied with their studies.

The University was founded in 1968 by the Fondazione Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori, as a University Institute of Modern Languages (I.U.L.M.). The I.U.L.M. focuses its attention on the study of languages, an essential condition for inclusion in increasingly international contexts and markets. The University, the first of its kind in Italy, understands the evolution of the world of communication and the consumer society, and the consequent need to update its training offer by providing specific tools. In these years, it founded the Special School of Public Relations. Aspira University College was established in Split in 2008 by the Contemporary Education Institution in Split. Given that the Contemporary College is the founder of the Maritime Education and Training Centre Atlantis, these three institutions form one of the largest private educational groups in Croatia. Aspira University College is a private college and a non.profit institution, which organizes and conducts professional studies of Sport Management, Computer Science – Program Engineering, International Management in Hospitality and Tourism and Hospitality and Tourism Management. A Gastronomy major has been developed within the study program of International Management in Hospitality and Tourism, which in turn has substantially refreshed and expanded the field of higher education in Croatia. Additionally, Aspira’s key feature is its dynamic adaptation of programs and content to the current market needs.

University of Primorska was founded in 2003 in the Slovene Littoral, one of Slovenia’s five traditional regions. The university is located in Koper, a port city in southwestern Slovenia. Koper is the country’s fifth largest city and the largest coastal city. The university also has two other campuses located in Izola, a small fishing town, and Portoroz, a popular seaside resort. There are six academic faculties at the university: the faculty of humanities, faculty of management, faculty of mathematics, natural sciences and information technologies, faculty of tourism studies, faculty of health sciences, and the faculty of education.
