The Tourism Journal is openly disseminated, with no cost to readers or authors in the process of submission and evaluation of originals. This policy is in line with the main international initiatives for the dissemination of knowledge, which promote the citability of published works. Manuscripts should be submitted to “carreras@iriarteuniversidad.net” in electronic format, according to the stylistic guidelines described below.

Revista Turismo is a multidisciplinary scientific journal that will accept for publication original papers in Spanish, English and Portuguese in any of the areas of tourism. Original manuscripts will be adapted to the available template here.

The text should not exceed 9,500 words, with a minimum of 2,000 words, including tables, graphs, drawings, photos, bibliography and abstracts. Smaller dimensions will be accepted, depending on the nature of the manuscript.

The title of the article should be concise and informative of its content. The first page should contain the title of the text, author(s), affiliation and e-mail address, abstract (250 words maximum), keywords (6 maximum). Abstract and keywords should also be provided in English if this is not the language used in the text. One or more JEL codes should be included, depending on the area or areas of knowledge.

Bibliographic references will appear at the end of the text in alphabetical order and only those referred to in the text, according to the APA citation system.

They should be numbered independently in Arabic numerals. Each table should have a brief title and should not exceed one page. All tables should be referenced from the text itself, unless they are part of an Annex. They should be inserted in the place they would occupy in the original published text.

Numbering should be correlative for all footnotes in the article and they should be included in the text. The number of footnotes should be reduced as much as possible, or dispensed with if possible.
