An expert in Revenue Management, Yield, Channel Management, and Hotel Marketing, Professor Ilja has extensive professional experience having led large teams in leading companies in the industry.

 

Ilja has a master’s degree in leadership and development of teams and people and has completed a master’s degree at the prestigious Cornell University in New York – Ithaca, additionally Professor Ilja trained with industry leaders in the so-called cradle of revenue management in the prestigious location of Las Vegas having performed actions in Diamond, MGM, Mariott and Vdara.

 

The professor has developed a successful professional career in different international and local chains, starting his career in H10 Hotels, passing through Meliá International, Hilton and Dreamplace Hotels & Resorts. The professor has been part of the management committee and board of directors of different relevant companies in the sector.

 

Currently the professor is a founding partner of the marketing company Aibo Solutions where he has worked for different hotels such as Hotel Paradise Park, Dreamplace Hotels & Resorts, KN Hotels, Hotel Playa Olid, Broncemar Beach.

 

 

Professional Experience

 

• Since 2000 he has been applying Revenue Management and Hotel marketing in different Hotels, international chains, local chains and management companies, having had professional experiences in four different continents: Latin America, North America, Europe, and Africa.

• Hilton Hotels – Revenue Manager

• Melia Hotels – Area Revenue Manager

• Dreamplace Hotels – Commercial Manager, Senior Revenue Manager, and Direct Sales Manager.

• In the last 6 years as co-founder of a management company, hotel marketing, revenue management, direct channel and ecommerce optimization, using innovative and cutting-edge techniques and tools.

 

 

Academic Experience

 

• Since 2013 he has been training in different areas such as hotel segmentation, Revenue Management, Hotel Marketing, e-Commerce and Direct Channel.

• He is a professor of different public institutions on the island, as a teacher of different masters in private sector companies, in addition to continuous training in different hotels in the Canary Islands.
